Accessing our Services

Anyone 19 years and older. Younger ages must be accompanied by a guardian.

Our services are free although donations are accepted from those who are able to give.

Taxes may be dropped off year-round.

In the off-season (May through January), taxes are picked up once per month and processed within a week. During tax season they are picked up daily and processed within a few days. Drop-off and pick-up is available between 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm.

We provide a direct link to Legal Aid BC, who offer assistance with Family Law, Children/MCFD, Criminal Law, and Refugees and Immigrants.

We do not give legal advice, and we are not paralegals.

We’d like that! Please stop by the front desk during drop-in hours and let us know you’re interested. We have a short process to find out if we’ll be the right fit for each other, and all volunteers must pass a criminal record check.

We live and work on the homelands and territories of the Tla’amin People. We honour the land, the Tla’amin People, and their treaty and continually seek to strengthen our relationship and responsibilities to them as guests in the territory.
