Cathy arrived in qathet with the intent to stay for 5 years. She’s still here 44 years later because she loves where we live, the strength of our community, and how we can really pull together when things get tough.

Cathy taught at the elementary and secondary levels in our district schools for 30 years, after which she represented teachers as local union president. Since retirement, Cathy has served on a variety of non-profit boards in order to continue her passion for making things better for everyone in our community. She looks forward to more of the same through volunteering to sit on the Lift board of directors.
