Brodie D’Angio

Brodie D’Angio

Brodie has spent most of his life living, working, and playing in the qathet region on the Traditional Territories of the Tla’amin people. He loves to travel, which could mean camping on the beaches of Savary Island, hiking the peaks of Machu Picchu, or drinking a latte in the streets of Rome. Brodie is the Manger of the Lift Employment Services Program, where he wears multiple hats. He spends most of his days supporting his team with the WorkBC Program, whether it’s interpreting policy, exploring local labour market trends, or coaching staff on employment service approaches. Brodie has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria and has worked in a wide range of sectors before joining the Employment Services program with Lift,  from calling participants at a survey house to managing fish processing facilities. Brodie believes that sustainable and fulfilling employment is achievable by all members of our community, and that employment services is not only about supporting individuals to find a job, but to support bringing our community together through employment.

We live and work on the homelands and territories of the Tla’amin People. We honour the land, the Tla’amin People, and their treaty and continually seek to strengthen our relationship and responsibilities to them as guests in the territory.
