As the next step in our effort to improve the way we connect with community, our Senior Leadership Team has started visiting homes in the areas near our head office, supportive housing building, Immigrant Welcome Centre, Community Resource Centre and emergency shelter.
We’re going door-to-door, asking our program-site neighbours to complete a 5-minute survey as a way to get a better understanding of community concerns, gauge understanding of our programs and services, and inspire ideas for how we can effectively engage with the community. Folks can answer the survey on the spot or fill it out afterwards online or by mail.
We look forward to connecting with our fellow neighbours through the month of January. A similar survey for the broader qathet Region will be released in February – stay tuned!
Once we’ve wrapped up our surveying, we’ll be reporting back with what we’ve heard and our next steps.
