Simple Tax Situations

  • Employment
  • Pension
  • Benefits
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plans
  • Scholarships, fellowships, bursaries, or grants
  • Interest (under $1000)

How does it work?

Drop off your tax and related documents with our trained tax clinic volunteers.

They’ll prepare and submit your tax return with the CRA, then return your tax documentation to you along with a copy of your completed tax return.

When dropping off your information, please bring all supporting income tax documentation for the year you’re filing for.

We’re unable to revise your filing after its been submitted so make sure we have everything we need.

We have computers and public phone access at our Community House, and can assist with gathering the required documentation.

We’ll also ask for your contact information, so we can notify you once we’ve filed your tax return and your documents are ready to pick up.

*Our Free Tax Clinic is part of the Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. Our volunteers are screened and receive CRA training.

Get started!

Our free tax clinic starts March 2nd.
