Our literacy programs helps people have the literacy skills they need to be successful in their lives and the community.
Community literacy programs include Literacy Outreach and Community Adult Literacy and Learning (CALL). These programs, guided by an annual literacy plan, support projects and community activities raising awareness about the importance of literacy. In addition, we recruit and train volunteer tutors to provide 1:1 and small group tutoring for adults in a community-based setting. Learners and tutors are carefully matched and meet in a variety of convenient locations in town.
